Our engineers have been busy once again, ensuring 1650kVA Diesel standby generators are at the correct operational performance should they be called into action. All component parts of the diesel generators are tested under load conditions and in a controlled environment. Heavy duty cables are run from the switch-gear to the diesel generator and load bank.
During the load bank testing (which can take up to 4 hours) the engineers ensure loading to 110% rated capacity, monitor the system and components utilising Thermal Imaging and Data Logging Devices.
JS Power identifies any problems with the generator and its ability to provide the power required should a critical load be needed. All the results are recorded and a report initiated for the client to keep on their files.
